Crop

Edit >Crop is useful when you want quickly modify the size of the canvas :

• Select a rectangular area with the rectangular marquee (M)
• Choose Edit > Crop
• Voilα, you remove all data outside the boundaries of the rectangle you draw with the rectangular marquee.
